Job description

Overview

This is a remote position that may be hired in Arizona, Texas, or North Carolina, with preference to locations close to First Citizens Bank hubs. The role involves providing advanced technical support to data processing systems within the Digital Banking Technology organization. Responsibilities include analyzing existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures to improve processing capabilities, assisting with program installation, and enhancing systems through analysis, coding, and testing. The position may also involve guiding less experienced analysts.

Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis: Source, compile, and interpret data. Perform accuracy and efficiency analysis, and communicate findings effectively.
2. System Testing: Test systems thoroughly to ensure proper installation of software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluate and communicate testing results. Assist with coding and system modifications.
3. Business Support: Provide technical support through coding, process monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with business units and operations teams to support their objectives.
4. Technical Proficiency: Use knowledge to develop or install suitable software. Serve as a resource on data processing systems and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in application software programming.

Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science
