Morning Consult, LLC is actively hiring for an AI-powered infra-focused DevOps role. This position supports building and operating the platform, owning pipelines, and shaping architecture with product and data engineers.

You’ll influence decisions and drive end-to-end initiatives from scoping to rollout. You’ll work with AWS core services, IaC tooling, and CI/CD, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Formación

• Hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, IAM, networking).
• 2-4 years of DevOps engineering experience in a small or mid-size company.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Track record of owning projects end to end and explaining tradeoffs to engineers outside infra.
• Curiosity about AI and using AI tools to speed up infra, debugging or automation work.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes experience.

The Role:

Our engineering teams are building the next generation of AI-powered products. In this role, you’ll build the platform our engineers stand on: the infrastructure, pipelines and tooling that let them ship AI-powered products quickly and safely. You’ll work side by side with product and data engineers, have a real voice in architecture decisions, and own meaningful projects from scoping through rollout.

What You'll Do:

• Own infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines so engineering teams can ship safely, often and with confidence

• Bring an infrastructure perspective to architecture decisions early, working alongside engineers rather than at handoff

• Improve observability, alerting and incident response, tracing problems to root cause and sharing what we learn

• Lead defined infrastructure projects from scoping through rollout

• Keep our AWS environment secure, reliable and cost-efficient

• Review teammates' infrastructure code and share what you learn

• Use AI tools in your own infrastructure work, and share what works so the whole team gets faster

About You and What You've Done:

• Hands-on AWS experience with core services (e.g., EC2, EKS or ECS, S3, IAM, networking).

• 2-4 years of DevOps engineering experience, ideally in a small or mid-size company where you’ve worn several hats

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines

• A track record of owning projects end to end and explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers outside infrastructure

• Curiosity about AI and experience using AI tools to speed up infrastructure, debugging or automation work

• Nice to have: Kubernetes experience

The expected salary range for this position is $93,300 – $150,100, with a midpoint of $121,700. In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role. This role is eligible for an equity grant, which will be discussed in your initial recruiter conversation.
