Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a collaborative product and engineering team. You will contribute to a modern, data-driven reporting platform that supports dealer-facing products and thousands of users.

You will design and build reusable components using LOGI, React, Java/Python backends, and SQL queries. The role involves cloud deployments on AWS, data integration, and participation in architecture discussions and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL databases.
• Experience building backend services in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable reporting components and dashboards in LOGI.
• Create interactive UIs with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build backend services and APIs using Java and/or Python.
• Write efficient SQL for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for scalable solutions.
• Support migration from MicroStrategy to LOGI.
• Assist in data integration and ETL processes.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Availability for on-call duties as needed.
