About The Role

Our Fusion and Foundry product teams seek a backend software engineer to develop platform products that provide core orchestration and workflow capabilities for CrowdStrike’s Falcon Platform.

Fusion, a key component of our Falcon Platform, automates 80% of breach remediation actions and supports Foundry, our Security Application Store. These products are heavily used by our customers.

This role requires an experienced backend microservices developer familiar with cloud engineering principles, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

What You'll Do

• Build fault-tolerant Golang microservices for our Fusion product and ecosystem
• Support high-volume Kafka event pipelines managing customer workflows
• Work with technologies like Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Opensearch, Redis
• Engage in cross-team platform initiatives and troubleshoot production issues

What You'll Need

• Experience with large-scale streaming platforms (processing over a trillion events daily)
• MS in related field or 2+ years of experience in event-driven microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and bonus for gRPC
• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
