We are looking for a Software Engineer who’s optimizing cloud infrastructure & distributed systems and has experience with scale to join our Capacity Engineering team. We enable Affirm to build and scale our Infrastructure globally in an engineering efficient, developer friendly, cost-effective, resilient, performant and secure manner and ensure that Affirm can uphold our SLA commitments. Our work ranges from developing and maintaining a distributed load-testing framework, scaling for the holiday season, developing capacity models, capacity tuning and having fun along the way!

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $160,000 - $210,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $142,000 - $192,000
