Job summary

ALSAC, the fundraising organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is seeking a software engineer to analyze, develop, implement, and support multi-layered enterprise applications.

You will design libraries, services, and integrations, while modernizing platforms, automating processes, and advancing AI-assisted engineering practices. Responsibilities include SDLC support, design and testing of changes, collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering scalable, high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and client/server technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports SDLC activities under supervision, including requirements gathering and analyses.
• Designs, develops, tests, and implements small to medium program changes and projects.
• Collaborates with analysts, stakeholders, and customers to plan for future needs.
• Works with users to understand system usage and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Develops and maintains integration points, APIs, and enterprise services.
