Kpler is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Commodities Tribe. You will contribute to the development and operation of our Supply & Demand products, owning key data pipelines, backend services, APIs, and data-quality systems.

Collaborate with Product, Research, and Data teams to solve complex problems with domain knowledge, data challenges, and engineering decisions. This role suits engineers who take ownership, work with complex data, and grow their technical impact for customers

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering delivering production systems.
• Owns a non-trivial feature end-to-end in production.
• Strong Python for data-heavy work (pandas/polars, SQLAlchemy).
• Comfortable debugging and operating production data pipelines; on-call duty.
• Shaped half-defined problems into delivered solutions.
