Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to support the MDAT system in Java and Python on AWS. The role emphasizes implementing the MDAT system, developing automated tests, and collaborating with system engineers in an agile environment, including prototyping in the AWS cloud.

The candidate will contribute to complex analytics, ensure code quality with tests, and provide design input for software components while aligning with system requirements and security standards.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Eleven (11) years (7+4) of SWE experience in similar scope in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Implement the MDAT system in Java/Python using AWS services.
• Develop automated tests at functional and systems levels.
• Partner with System engineers to execute the agile process.
• Prototype solution space in the AWS cloud.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per requirements.
• Review and test components for design adherence and test results.
