Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to support the MDAT system in Java/Python using AWS services and to implement automated tests at functional and systems levels. The role partners with System engineers to execute the agile process and prototyping in the AWS cloud.

The candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, review components for design adherence, and resolve issues while contributing to requirements analysis and system design trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per requirements.
• MDAT system in Java/Python using AWS services.
• Automated tests at functional and systems levels.
• Prototyping of solutions in the AWS cloud.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the MDAT system in Java/Python using AWS services.
• Implementation of automated tests at functional and systems levels.
• Prototyping of solution space in the AWS cloud.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Provides input to system design including trade-offs and reuse.
