Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Intelligence Systems Engineer to support the development and deployment of next generation tactical intelligence processing and ISR automation solutions. This role focuseson enhancing tactical intelligence collection, exploitation, and dissemination through AI/ML-driven automation, federated sensor orchestration, and distributed data management. The role involves working at the intersection of AI/ML, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) systems, and advanced data processing to expedite actionable intelligence at the tactical edge.

What You Will Do:

  • Data Layer Development & Distributed Intelligence Architecture
  • Enableseamless machine-to-machine communicationby developing aschema-less, open-source data management systemsupporting multiple distribution patterns (Pub/Sub, Point-to-Point).
  • Implementautonomous, intelligent agentsforautomated node discovery and adaptive data routingin contested environments.
  • Enhancereal-time data flowbetweentactical edge platforms and command nodesto improve decision-making speed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
