Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. seeks a software engineer to design, code, test, deploy and operate frontend applications, backend services, data pipelines, and AI systems that power models, specialized reasoning and resolution agents, and human-in-the-loop AI features.

You will run A/B tests and ship production features tied to real business outcomes, and partner with product managers to turn workflows into AI-driven automations. Preferred hubs are New York, San Francisco, or Austin.

Qualifications

• Software engineer with 2+ years of experience building production systems.
• Experience owning features or services end-to-end in production.
• Ability to lead projects independently from design to deployment.
• Strong collaboration with users, product and engineers.
• Interest in applied AI and production readiness.
