Job summary

Kidder Mathews in Seattle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to document and implement solutions, architect and develop applications, and ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness across the full stack.

You will build RESTful services, write unit tests, and translate designs into production-ready code while leveraging AI-driven data processing capabilities. The role requires collaboration, cloud/offices travel, and a strong foundation in software fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years managing multiple strategic initiatives and/or projects.
• Proficient with end-to-end systems and RESTful API design.
• Strong knowledge of OOD, data structures, algorithms.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document solutions to extend and maintain existing services and build out new features across the full application stack.
• Develop RESTful web services using OO languages (Java, Python, C#, C++, or similar).
• Write and maintain unit tests using industry-standard frameworks.
• Translate designs and wireframes into full stack code.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting with on-prem and cloud UC software.
• Design AI/LLM capabilities within enterprise applications to automate document processing and workflows.
• Collaborate with business and research teams to apply AI-driven solutions and data requirements.
• Travel to other offices and datacenters as necessary.
