Job summary

FOX Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer II to join its Digital Product Engineering Ad Tech team. In this role, you’ll help build, maintain, and evolve the web advertising platform that powers monetization across FOX’s portfolio of consumer-facing digital products.

The ideal candidate has production web app experience, a strong understanding of web architecture, and enjoys collaborating with engineering, product, QA, and external partners to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically, 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and browser-based development.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs, APIs, or platform services into production applications.
• Familiarity with video playback technologies and web-based media applications.
• Experience building modular, maintainable, and testable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based advertising solutions and SDKs for FOX's consumer-facing digital products.
• Build scalable, modular, and high-performance software that supports video advertising, display advertising, analytics, and measurement.
• Integrate and maintain third-party advertising technologies, including platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), Interactive Media Ads (IMA), FreeWheel, and other advertising or analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and partner teams to deliver new features and improve existing functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Develop subject matter expertise in digital advertising, video monetization, and evolving web technologies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support integrations and technical initiatives.
