The Staffing Incubator team partners with staffing agencies to increase their productivity. We aim to leverage Indeed's HR Technology and machine learning capabilities to match job seekers and jobs.

We are looking for a Software Engineer II with expertise in Machine Learning to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, project partners, and other engineers to design, develop, and optimize ML/AI solutions that match jobseekers and jobs.

Who you are

• Design and develop scalable systems integrating machine learning models
• Assist in implementing data pipelines to integrate data for use in machine learning models and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members in an agile, fast-paced environment (ship early, ship often, and iterate)
• Engage in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and cohesiveness
• Work with product managers and project partners to align solutions with business needs
• Perform ad hoc exploratory data analysis
• Mentor and support team members, driving best practices in software engineering and machine learning

Who we are

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• 2+ years of direct industry experience as a software engineer using at least one of the popular programming languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, C++, Go, Rust, etc.
• Experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning solutions and ML-powered products
• Experience in implementing reliable, efficient data pipelines
• Effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent communication skills
• [nice-to-have] Experience with cloud technologies (AWS with Terraform preferred)
