Job summary

Ultra Maritime seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to support airborne receivers. You will lead development and maintenance of current and legacy code, define requirements, and document efforts while collaborating with PMs, project teams, and customer representatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CS/EE, 6+ years in embedded software, strong troubleshooting, Embedded Linux, and DSP concepts. US security clearance eligibility is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
  • Embedded Linux experience.
  • Experience with DSP concepts (A/D, D/A, filters).
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide embedded software development support to current airborne receivers.
  • Develop and maintain both new and legacy code, write tests.
  • Define requirements, design software, write documentation.
  • Collaborate with Program Management and customer representatives.
  • Attend bi-weekly software meetings.
  • Occasional travel to offsite government/non-government test facilities.
