**Job Description**

**Job Summary:**

BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated mid-level Software Engineer to join our Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) team supporting the NIWC Atlantic TacMobile Program. The role involves the sustainment of existing configurations and the development of future capabilities for TacMobile sites (USN and FMS customers).

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Software Engineering: Support a Systems Integration Test and Evaluation (SITE) Integrated Product Team (IPT), develop, maintain, and unit test code using various software development environments and programming languages.
2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with P-8 platform interfaces, the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), teammates, and customers to meet expectations and ensure timely delivery.
3. Software Development: Plan, design, develop, verify, and document software systems, contributing to large-scale software solutions.
4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex issues across software components, perform architectural trade studies, and contribute to documentation.
5. Process and Planning: Participate in architecture and process reviews, provide data and estimates for project planning, and deploy processes and tools adhering to industry standards.
6. Leadership and Mentorship: Guide less experienced staff, contribute to proposals, and facilitate technology transfer.
7. Operational Support: Support operational and integration issues, and perform other duties as assigned.

**Location and Details:**

Position based in North Charleston, SC, contingent upon contract award, with limited relocation assistance available.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills:**

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or related field.
• DoD IAT Level II Certification in Security.
• Experience with hardware design, trade studies, interface design, Java and/or C# development, VMWare, SQL Server, LDAP, UML/SysML modeling, and software development requirements.

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:**

• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with TacMobile, LINQ, messaging (JMS), containerization, and interpreting acoustics signals.
• Proficiency with IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio.

**Pay Range:** $63,662 - $108,225, based on market pay structures and individual qualifications.
