We are seeking a Software Engineer 2 for our Microbial Solutions site in Charleston, SC.
As a Software Engineer in the R&D department you will be responsible for designing, architecting, developing, documenting, testing and debugging software for new products. You will collaborate with Systems Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Testers, Project Managers and Product Managers while working on the Product Development team. You will ensure that best practices are used, that modern and effective technologies are employed, and that requirements are properly interpreted and met. You will work as an active member of a software development team, interacting often with peers, to ensure the correct work is being done and that quality standards are met. You will support products after they have been launched, ensuring that customer issues can be resolved.
The pay range for this position is $87,000-$102,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based onfactors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
