Job summary

Full Scope is seeking a Software Developer I to join a high-priority malware analysis modernization program in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role involves designing, creating, and configuring tools for follow-on processing on a critical system, with development in Linux using Java, REST, and Docker.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java expertise, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Poly. Telework up to 60% is possible within the National scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of software engineering experience on similar scope programs.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+), REST, and Docker.
• Experience developing, deploying, and debugging Linux applications.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with Atlassian project management tools.
• Experience using IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE for development.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Poly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, create, and configure tools for follow-on processing on a critical system.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot applications in Linux environments using Java, REST, and Docker.
• Multitask effectively and pivot between tasks to meet deadlines.
• Use Atlassian tools to streamline project management and collaboration.
• Leverage IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Contribute to microservice development and deployment efforts.
• Apply malware analysis experience to enhance program capabilities.
