Job summary

Kratos Unmanned Systems is seeking a Software Engineer I to develop product software for unmanned systems at our Roseville, California facility. You will implement, test, and document software across the full software life cycle, while collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to meet program requirements.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, performing reviews, and supporting flight testing and data analysis.

Qualifications

• BS degree with software coursework or experience.
• Coursework or prior experience in C/C++ and data structures.
• Coursework or experience with software version control, debugging tools, and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Develops software following KUAS processes and standards.
• Writes and validates software requirements, designs, and tests.
• Performs code reviews and supports flight testing and data analysis.
• Assists in software effort estimation and progress tracking.
• Ensures compliance with safety and company policies.
