Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, seeks a software engineer for real-time embedded and application software development. This onsite role requires ability to obtain security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret Level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Review software components and systems with colleagues.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers in Engineering.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established practices to maintain configuration management of software.
• Obtain required program access.
• Learn new tools to stay state-of-the-art.
• Stay updated with missile technology to drive innovation.
