Job summary

Boston Scientific in Minneapolis area is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop and maintain application and system software for medical devices using C++ and QT, with involvement in the cryoablation family and overall product lifecycle.

You will work in an on-site role five days a week, collaborating with global teams including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware and regulatory, to deliver high-quality software solutions and drive engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment-based work authorization.
• Prior internship or co-op experience with Boston Scientific.
• 3 months of experience using C++ to develop software for cryoablation devices.
• Experience researching, troubleshooting, and resolving both hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain application and system software for our medical devices using C++ and QT.
• Develop technical leadership skills working with a global team on sustaining activities.
• Solve difficult problems and always strive to make things better and achieve engineering excellence.
• Be involved in all aspects of the system's software and product lifecycle.
