Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent
• 57 years of software development experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java)
• Full stack development with React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring/Spring-MVC, myBatis, RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architecture Principles
• Experience with relational database design and SQL development
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Experience with DevOps and automation practices
• Ability to adopt emerging frameworks/tools
• Ability to estimate and support medium to large projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel and undergo background checks

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for multiple applications and resolve issues promptly
• Participate across full product lifecycle including design, development, testing, release, and support
• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend and frontend modules with clean, maintainable code
• Design backend database schemas and write complex SQL queries
• Write automated unit and UI tests and utilize CI/CD pipelines for deployments
• Triage production issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve
• Mentor junior/offshore engineers and participate in technical interviews
• Influence discovery, standards, tools, and design patterns for better efficiency
• Provide technical feasibility assessments to the business and recommend solutions
• Contribute to other digital product initiatives and projects as assigned
