Job summary

Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in Seattle seeks a Software Development Engineer I to contribute to scalable cloud workloads.

You will build across the stack—from low-level systems to ML runtimes—using C/C++ and Python, collaborating with hardware, compiler, and systems teams to deliver features end-to-end. You’ll work on compiler and ML frameworks with exposure to Graviton and Nitro hardware, driving performance and reliability in high-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with a final graduation date May 2027 or later
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python; knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of OS, architecture, or systems programming
• Experience with compilers or ML runtimes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and testing software across the stack from low-level systems to runtimes
• Writing efficient, maintainable code in C/C++/Python
• Optimizing software performance on custom hardware (Graviton, Trainium, Inferentia)
• Debugging complex issues across hardware-software boundary
• Collaborating with hardware, compiler, and systems teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Documenting work and presenting results to the team
