Job summary

TGW Logistics seeks an entry-level Software Engineer I to join a team of software engineers delivering design, development, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support for TGW software solutions.

You will collaborate with developers and SMEs, write C# and Java, and execute unit and integration tests. You will engage in on-site commissioning as needed and participate in 24/7 on-call support. A BS in CS or related field and OO programming experience are required, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Some internship or hands-on work experience programming in an object-oriented environment.
• Up to 40% domestic and international travel.
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or NetBeans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with developers and SMEs to deliver high quality implementations.
• Writes C# and Java code to meet specifications.
• Executes unit and integration test plans.
• Participates in software functional tests using an equipment emulation model.
• Provides start-up and post-implementation support and participates in on-call rotations.
