Uber is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software applications that power safe, affordable movement across thousands of cities. You will work within a high-performance culture, tackle complex systems, and own components from design through production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming and modern software practices.
Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software applications.
Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack.
Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects to provide recommendations.
Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity.
Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system.
Solve production issues in product and system reliability.
May telecommute.
