Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and maintain software components across OneStream solutions. You will contribute to UI with Angular, React, and Blazor, and build RESTful APIs that integrate with data services.

The OneStream platform is built on a sophisticated technology stack that includes distributed, multi-threaded services, OLAP and multidimensional data models, modern web frameworks, SQL-based persistence, and increasingly cloud-native, SaaS-oriented architecture on Microsoft Azure.The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, andmaintainssoftware components withinOneStream,building high-quality features using established design patterns and best practices. This role owns assigned features through the full software development lifecycle, collaborates with senior engineers, Product, and Quality Assurance, and develops user interfaces, APIs, and data access logic. The Software Engineerparticipatesin code reviews andassistsin diagnosing and resolving defects and production issues to ensure reliable, high-performing solutions andpositivecustomer experience.Success in this role is measured by code quality, reliability, learning velocity, and the ability to deliverwell‑scopedfeatures safely and predictably.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, andmaintainhigh-quality software components within OneStream solutions.

• Implement features using established design patterns and best practices under guidance from senior engineers.

• Contribute to UI development using modernUI frameworks including Angular, React,andBlazor.

• Develop andintegrateAPIs and servicesfollowingRESTfulstandards and practices.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code withappropriate unittest coverage.

• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, refactoring, test creation, and documentation, whilevalidatingAI-generated output for correctness, security, and architectural alignment.

• Participate in peer code reviews to improve code quality and consistency.

• Assistin diagnosing, debugging, and resolving software defects across development and test environments.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering team members to deliver features that meet functional and quality expectations.

• Follow established SDLC, security, and complianceprotocols.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.

• Experience with object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET,andASP.NET.

• Basic experience withmodern UI frameworkssuch asAngular, React, Blazor,andWPF.

• Familiarity with data formats and markup languages such asJSONandXML.

• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL fundamentals.

• Experience using source control systems (Git) andparticipatingin CI/CD workflows.

• Ability to write and review unit tests tovalidatefunctionality.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience building enterprise or platform-oriented applications.

• Familiarity withcloud‑hostedorSaaS‑basedsystems.

• Introductory experience with automated testing practices.

• Azure Fundamentals or entry-level Azure certification.

• Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, etc.

• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design.

• Ability to learnnew technologiesand frameworks quickly.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
