Pay Range: $31.48 - $42.50 - $53.52

The Software Engineer I works within the Application Development & Support team to provide software programming for new software, production support and maintenance for existing software, as well as ad‑hoc support of key departmental business areas, databases, applications, and tools that drive business functions. The Software Engineer I works under close supervision and with detailed instruction from management or lead software engineers.
AA and 4+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position must work on‑site at the San Diego Headquarters to provide adequate support to internal clients, be available for face‑to‑face interactions and coordination of work with stakeholders. Remote work is not an option.
This is a full‑time non‑exempt position requiring occasional overtime. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. One must be able to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
There is no travel required; attendance may be required at local conferences and meetings.
