Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineer I in the United States to join a team that builds secure, reliable, and scalable software powering transactions worldwide.

You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, learn from experienced engineers, and advance core payment technologies while working in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout.
  • Have strong ownership of your team's software including monitoring, dependencies, build, and deployments.

Role

About You
  • Currently enrolled in your final year of a bachelor's or accelerated master's program
  • Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
