Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team. The role offers opportunities to work on modern web and enterprise technologies in a cloud-first, microservices environment with Guidewire BillingCenter, Java, Vue, and Spring Boot.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience (5+ preferred) and a desire to grow in a collaborative, agile setting with hybrid work arrangements and a strong emphasis on learning and development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS or related field; bachelor degree preferred.
• 2+ years related work experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude in programming languages and software development concepts.

We are seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team.

What it Takes

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent related work experience. Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience. 5 or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude in one or more programming languages and software development concepts.
• Ability to critically evaluate multiple options to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Guidewire, Java and Vue preferred.
• Values continuous learning and personal development.
• Enjoys working in a team focused and collaborative environment.
