SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with 3–8 years of experience to develop and maintain applications that interface with hardware systems.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship, with work spanning design, implementation, and testing of device communication and control functionality. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, experience with C/C++, Python, or Rust, and a track record of collaborating with engineering teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust (if no C or C++ experience).
• Experience developing applications that communicate with hardware devices, controllers, sensors, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with others to meet established goals and program schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications that interface with hardware systems.
