Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software developer in Maryland to design, build, test, and troubleshoot software that interfaces with hardware control systems. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required.

Travel about 10% is expected as part of the role. Ideal candidates will have 3–8 years of software development experience with C, C++, Python, or Rust, and a solid foundation in programming principles.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Experience developing applications that communicate with hardware devices, controllers, sensors, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications that interface with hardware systems.
