Responsibilities

Manage trouble ticket resolution for multiple applications.
Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, developing fixes, testing and migrating solutions.
Code programming logic for new or existing software following design specs.
Install, configure, develop, design workflows, monitor, and upgrade assigned software products.
Monitor application quality and performance through testing and maintenance.
Maintain up-to-date records of issues with existing code.
Develop and unit test application programs per Technical Designs.
Obtain code reviews and ensure policies followed.
Offer system recommendations for defined business needs.
Obtain Technical Design and Unit Test plan reviews from Senior Developers.
Present work for peer/management review and sign-off.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Use back-end programming languages and front-end script languages to optimize performance, scalability, and security
Code programming logic for new or existing software solutions and applications following design specifications
Install, configure, develop, design workflows, monitor, and/or upgrade assigned software products
Monitor application quality and performance through testing and maintenance
Maintain up-to-date records of issues with existing code
Develop and unit test application programs according to Technical Designs
Obtain code reviews and ensure programming standards and policies are followed
Offer system recommendations for defined business needs
Obtain Technical Design and Unit Test plan reviews from Senior Application Developers
Present work for peer and/or management review and sign-off
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience; or equivalent combination
Fundamental knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support
Intermediate knowledge of client/server networks
Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors
General understanding of how technology supports the business
Experience with back-end programming languages and front-end script languages
Experience with software installation, configuration, development, workflow design, monitoring, and/or upgrades
Experience developing and unit testing application programs
Ability to obtain and apply Technical Design and Unit Test plan reviews
Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise judgment and initiative in resolving problems
