About the Institutional Product Group

This team supports Coinbase's institutional business, enabling large financial institutions to custody digital assets and participate in the crypto economy securely. We focus on building scalable and secure crypto platforms, supporting assets, staking, governance, and web3 gateways, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and new initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Design secure, reliable services to integrate with blockchains and add new cryptocurrencies to Coinbase, Pro, and Custody.
2. Develop user interfaces for digital currency apps, including features like staking, voting, and predictions.
3. Create infrastructural services for secure storage, accounting, and transactions.
4. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to develop quarterly roadmaps.
5. Contribute positively to team interactions and foster inclusivity.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience developing web applications with JavaScript and frameworks like React.
• Experience shipping user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end best practices, including performance, security, and usability.
• Familiarity with product and design cycles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• High-quality, well-tested coding skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in finance or security sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience with React Native or migrating native apps to React Native.
• Crypto-related experience, such as onchain activity, ENS, dApps, or blockchain services.

Pay Range: $152,205—$179,300 USD, including bonus, equity, and benefits.
