Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to craft localized experiences for APAC users, including Singapore. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn product visions into concrete roadmaps and deliver high-quality, tested code for web and mobile.

Applicants should have 2+ years in finance/crypto spaces, strong experience with JavaScript and React, and familiarity with GraphQL and React Relay. Collaboration with designers and PMs is essential.

Frontend Software Engineer, targeting localized experiences for Singaporean and other APAC users.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
• Write high quality, well‑tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
• Solve unique, large‑scale, highly complex technical problems.
• Implement scalable, extensible, maintainable, and high quality code for web and mobile while keeping the customer experience and quality top of mind.
• Add positive energy in every meeting, making your coworkers feel included in every interaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience building products in traditional finance or crypto spaces.
• At least 2+ years of experience developing web or mobile apps and shipping user‑facing features with JavaScript and modern, component‑based JS frameworks like React.
• Familiar with current trends and best practices in front‑end architecture, including performance, security and usability.
• Familiar with product and design life‑cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Write high quality, well‑tested code to meet the needs of your customers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL and React Relay for data fetching & rendering.
• Knowledge of Protocol Buffers and gRPC.
• Experience in backend development, especially with Golang and MongoDB.
• Crypto‑forward experience, including familiarity with on‑chain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain‑based services.
