As a Senior UX/Front-end Engineer, you’ll create interfaces that empower developers and non-developers to deploy models, monitor them, and analyze production data. You will have full ownership of building, shipping, and maintaining innovative functionalities across the stack, combining strong programming skills with a user-focused mindset.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop key interfaces of Snorkel Flow, including deployment management, data analysis, and metrics visualization
• Work directly with customers to create intuitive ML development interfaces
• Define and advocate best practices for performance, quality, security, and user experience
• Mentor team members and promote a collaborative environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale product development
• Identify and address technical debt to improve product iteration
• Work on a hybrid schedule: three days/week at Redwood City HQ or SF office, with remote work on 'No Meeting' Tuesdays and Thursdays

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with modern React (ES7, React hooks, TypeScript)
• Strong communication skills and initiative
• Experience building full-stack web applications
• Ability to prototype and iterate quickly on user workflows
• Knowledge of front-end best practices, including testing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Self-motivation, positive attitude, eagerness to learn

The salary range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is $200,000 - $275,000, including equity in stock options.
