Role Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer for our AI Assistants Team, focusing on integrating AI services for Generative AI Assistant products. Your expertise in service operations, designing interfaces, and instrumentation will be crucial for success. You will understand AI service operations, design interfaces, and ensure proper instrumentation to deliver effective solutions to customers.

Front End Engineer Responsibilities

• Build a high-performance video streaming web application.
• Create data-rich visualizations to show physical space usage.
• Enhance camera management user experience.
• Collaborate with UX designers and analyze feedback to improve workflows.
• Optimize front end performance for large datasets.
• Develop frameworks and infrastructure to boost developer productivity.
• Provide technical leadership to junior team members.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years in designing and testing enterprise web applications.
• 3+ years in object-oriented programming with JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SASS, webpack, Node.js, React/Redux, or similar, including testing frameworks like Mocha.
• Ability to own projects from conception to release, working collaboratively across teams.
• Thrives in small teams and enjoys solving open-ended problems.
• Passionate and inspiring to others.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, rspec, Postgres.
• Knowledge of multimedia and streaming video (HLS, h.264).
• Experience with media-rich interfaces involving images and video.
