Job summary

Fieldguide is seeking engineers for the Foundation Agents team to build and maintain the knowledge and evaluation infrastructure powering its long-horizon agents. You will work on backend systems that support agent execution, evaluation, and monitoring.

Join a collaborative effort to improve reliability and quality at scale, tackle frontier problems in agent reliability, and partner with senior engineers on the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI products.
• Experience with evals and error analysis in production systems.
• Backend-focused with some frontend exposure and distributed systems know-how.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain agent knowledge and evaluation infrastructure for Fieldguide’s long-horizon agents.
• Build backend systems that support agent execution, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Partner with senior engineers to execute the platform’s reliability and quality roadmap.
