Job summary

Jireh Semiconductor, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an experienced Fab Automation Software Engineer to develop and maintain fab automation software systems onsite.

You will design manufacturing applications using Java, SQL, and Python, integrate MES with factory automation and SECS/GEM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development or manufacturing systems experience, preferably in a semiconductor wafer fab environment.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience and solid SQL skills.
• Good understanding of wafer fab MES, factory automation, and manufacturing system architecture.
• Experience with SECS/GEM and equipment integration is preferred.
• Knowledge of RMS, SPC, or FDC is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a cross-functional engineering environment.
