Job summary

Perplexity in New York seeks an experienced software platform engineer to build and operate a unified platform for connectors, MCP servers, and CLI-backed tools, with focus on reliable execution and semantic knowledge.

You will own security, observability, reliability, and incident response in production, and lead the integration marketplace and partner onboarding, leveraging Python/Go/Rust and AWS/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Requires at least four years of software engineering experience and ownership of complex backend systems.
• Strong system design skills and production operation experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust and AWS/Kubernetes cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in connector or API platforms, semantic knowledge systems, or marketplaces.
