Job summary

Comcast is seeking a software engineer to provide technical leadership in designing and developing software and web applications in an Agile environment using C, C++, Python, Perl, and Shell. You will work with Linux OS and reference design kits like RDK-B and RDK-C.

Responsibilities include analyzing, testing, documenting development activity, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, while supporting software updates and rollout processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and five years of experience in Agile software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Python, Perl, and Shell in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Linux OS and RDK-B/RDK-C reference designs.
• Hands-on work with JSON and XML for Telemetry 2.0, Webpa, Upnp, TR-069.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in designing and developing software and web applications in an Agile environment.
• Work with Linux OS and reference design kits such as RDK-B and RDK-C.
• Use JSON and XML for Telemetry 2.0, Webpa, Upnp, TR-069 and Wi‑Fi technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and mentor junior engineers.
• Document development activity, perform analysis, testing, and assist with integration of new applications.
