Job summary

Kargo is recruiting for a software engineer to develop high-performance C++ software for machine vision and AI on edge devices in a logistics context. You will work with a team to build CV features and AI capabilities for an expanding fleet of sensors and edge systems.

The role requires 1–2 years of software engineering experience, strong C++ and Python skills, and familiarity with Linux. A degree in CS/CE/EE/Robotics is expected, with opportunities to grow in AI, robotics, and edge computing

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of software engineering experience in industry, internships, or research.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments.
• Experience through coursework, projects, internships, or research in computer vision, ML/AI, robotics, or edge computing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.

Responsibilities
