Job summary

Millennium in the United States seeks a data engineer for the Digital Assets platform. You will partner with leaders to evaluate data providers, build scalable data pipelines, and integrate real-time and historical data into firm platforms.

The role emphasizes data quality, resiliency, and collaboration across trading, risk, and analytics, with a base salary range of $175,000 to $250,000 in New York.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python experience for analytics and data processes.
• 2+ years deploying and managing AWS environments for data pipelines and intelligence services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience processing large structured and unstructured datasets with strong quality and resiliency controls, and managing connectivity to data vendors for 24/7 systems.
• Broad understanding of financial instruments with equities, fixed income, or commodities exposure a plus, and a passion for digital assets/cryptocurrency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate data providers and implement the strategic roadmap for digital asset data.
• Analyze real-time and historical digital asset data sources and integrate them into firm platforms.
• Build solutions that transform unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis and platform ingestion, with a strong emphasis on data quality and resiliency.
• Ongoing design and development of order management, trading, reconciliation and risk platform.
• Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.
