Job summary

Millennium, a global diversified investment firm, seeks a senior software engineer to own and enhance its pricing engine used by 300+ portfolio teams in New York. You will integrate streaming data, ensure data dissemination to analytics and risk systems, and drive the full software lifecycle from requirements to production.

The role requires 7–15+ years in Java with Spring/Spring Boot, strong SQL, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–15+ years of Java experience including Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL and relational DB development.
• Excellent communication with business users and teams.
• Self-starter with ownership and adaptability.
• Experience with event streaming or distributed caching or multithreading.
• Preferred: fixed income knowledge or full-stack web development or financial data feeds.

Responsibilities

• Build and support the pricing engine used by 300+ portfolio teams.
• Integrate live streaming and ETL data providers into the pricing platform.
• Disseminate pricing data to downstream systems (analytics, risk, traders).
• Own the full software lifecycle from requirements to production releases.
• Partner with business users and tech teams to clarify requirements.
• Deliver against tight release cycles and adapt to changing priorities.
• Build up and support the platform's technical infrastructure.
