Job description

Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. Some remote opportunities are available within specific departments. There are also roles that require being on-site full time. You’ll learn more about this during the application process.

JOB SUMMARY: The Software Engineer, DevOps is responsible for implementing and maintaining the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that meets Development, IT Security and Program Governance requirements. This role is also responsible for supporting the infrastructure and processes that enable monitoring and observability for Servers, Application and Network.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform design and development duties on projects that lead to the transformation of the business to a DevOps culture.
  • Maintain tools that enable the CI/CD pipeline and analyze requirements from onboarding requests.
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership, technical leads, and team members to develop an infrastructure that maximizes environment availability throughout the pipeline and ensures configuration consistency.
  • Maintain tools that enable continuous monitoring in the UPT ecosystem.
  • Assist other technical staff in resolving problems.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
