Job summary

Mach Industries is hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain full-stack software powering deployment, control, and logistics for autonomous defense platforms.

You will develop APIs, dashboards, and AWS-based infrastructure while collaborating with field teams to meet real-world field needs. A strong emphasis on security, CI/CD, and multi-tool integration drives this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining full-stack applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue) and styling (CSS, SASS).
• Experience developing backend services in Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment bridging hardware and software.

The Role

Mach Industries is seeking aSoftware Engineerskilled in full-stack developmentto design, build, and maintain the software infrastructure that powers the deployment, control, and logistics of Mach systems. This role will focus on developing full-stack web and backend tools to support real-world testing, operational deployment, and field data management for Mach’s autonomous defense platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement full-stack applications that support deployment, monitoring, and logistics workflows.

Develop APIs, databases, and UI dashboards for managing system configurations, test results, and live operations.

Architect and maintainAWS-basedinfrastructure, with a focus on compliance and security inGovCloudenvironments.

Build integrations between deployment software and internal systems (e.g., manufacturing, telemetry, and inventory databases).

Collaborate with field teams to translate operational requirements into scalable software tools.

Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices for sensitive systems.

Maintain and extend continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines supporting deployment software.

Contribute to cross-functional efforts in automating test and validation processes across hardware and software systems.

Troubleshoot and optimize performance across frontend and backend systems in field environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

3+ years of experience developing and maintaining full-stack applications in production environments.

Understanding of telemetry, data visualization, or control interfaces for autonomous systems.

Passion for defense technology and building tools that enable real-world impact.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
