Job summary

Reltio is seeking a senior backend engineer to own and scale the metadata ingestion and generation pipeline. You will build end-to-end data workflows, integrate LLM-powered enrichment, and connect physical data to business terms within the Reltio Data Cloud.

You will collaborate with product and data stewards to deliver a dependable, scalable graph-based data platform. The role emphasizes reliability, governance, and seamless platform integration with AgentFlow, enabling materialized insights

Qualifications

Experience designing and building scalable backend services.
Experience with data pipelines, ingestion, and generation.
Familiarity with LLM-driven enrichment and mapping.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own backend services that run the metadata ingestion-and-generation pipeline at scale.
Own the pipeline stages end to end—discovery, transform, load, and generation—and recovery on failure.
Define clear service boundaries and APIs to keep the system modular as capabilities grow.
Implement source adapters against common interfaces, starting with Databricks and Snowflake.
Extract and normalize catalogs, tables, columns, data types, lineage, and usage stats.
Build the LLM integration layer: prompt construction, parsing, and cost management.
Route AI-generated proposals through human review to ensure trust and safety.
