Zipliens is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our team, building the next generation of applications for the legal industry. You will work on our React frontend and Python/Django backend, delivering features that process large data and support lien resolution for personal injury settlements.

You will collaborate with product, operations, and fellow engineers, operate in production AWS environments, and help extend coding patterns as we scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience building and maintaining systems in production.
• Experience with Python/Django (or similar) and React.
• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL on large data sets.
• Hands-on AWS experience including EKS/EC2, RDS, S3, and queues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the Python/Django backend and React frontend.
• Develop and ship features from first commit through QA and deployment.
• Operate production services in AWS and follow security practices for sensitive data.
• Build backend services and data processing workflows over large datasets.
• Collaborate with product and operations to translate business needs into tech solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and scalability improvements under senior guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback.
