Chevy Chase Trust is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core, with emphasis on WPF and MVC in our in-house CRM.

You will write and optimize SQL queries and work with EF Core. You will develop custom reports, ensure code quality through testing and reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core, MVC and WPF; plus HTML/JS/CSS.
• Experience with EF Core and SQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience building custom business applications, not just admin/config.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core, primarily WPF and MVC.
• Work within and extend our proprietary, in-house CRM system.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas/Entity Framework Core integration.
• Build custom reports for internal and business stakeholders.
• Write clean, well-structured, maintainable code with testing and code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with proper error handling and logging.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
