Job summary

Stripe, LLC is seeking a software engineer to own end-to-end features across the stack in a fast-paced payments platform environment.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to build scalable APIs and user experiences for merchants worldwide. The role emphasizes high engineering standards and architectural contribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of software development experience.
• Experience across the stack and navigating codebases with different languages and tools.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Java, Scala and SQL.
• Experience with cloud services including gRPC, GraphQL and AWS.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus and AWS.
• Comfort with macOS and Unix-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end problems using a wide range of systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to develop new features and products.
• Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to codebases and processes.
• Build elegant APIs and user experiences enabling merchants to run and scale their businesses.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the next generation of Stripe’s infrastructure.
