Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for distributed systems.
• 1+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate highly available distributed systems for container networking and service mesh infrastructure.
• Build and extend the Envoy Management Server (xDS) control plane for thousands of Envoy proxies.
• Design and build ELB orchestration systems for Service Gateway and TLS management.
• Develop and scale Cloud Map as central service registry and DNS/API discovery.
• Design and implement APIs for ingress, service discovery, and service communication.
• Drive on-call, investigations, deployment safety, and production health.
